Today’s academic leaders are faced with the challenging task of disseminating and analyzing the ever-growing amount of information regarding the rapidly changing scope of academic medicine, giving the phrase, “it takes a village” new meaning. To assist institutions in their planning initiatives, our Academic Advisory Council-MH is pleased to offer executive coaching services from thought leaders who are experts in the field. Our short or long-term executive coaching and mentoring services range from over-the-phone consultation to in-person meetings. Oftentimes, these engagements follow the participation of the AAC-MH in either a search process or an institutional review, although the specific needs of the institution are always first and foremost, and can even include ongoing guidance and thought leadership that extends through both the planning and implementation process for a variety of initiatives.
